ABOUT KID KRAPPIE GUIDE SERVICE
Kid Krappie Guide Service was founded by Anthony Ruyle in 2021 on the heels of a successful YouTube channel. So many subscribers and followers of the “KidKrappie” YouTube channel were asking to fish with Anthony that he decided to start his successful Crappie guiding business.
Kid Krappie primarily focuses on a couple of well known lakes in the DFW area: Lewisville and Grapevine. Upon request, we also provides trips on a few other DFW area lakes including Joe Pool, Ray Roberts, Lavon and Ray Hubbard.
We offer boat trips using our stable and well equipped Stratos bass boat which will handle two guests comfortably. Our boat uses Garmin Panoptix Livescope to hunt down the Crappie. ABOUT ANTHONY RUYLE, GUIDE
Anthony was born and raised in in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas. His grandfather introduced him to fishing at a very early age. Anthony instantly fell in love with the sport of fishing and has honed his skills ever since. Crappie in particular fascinated Anthony because of how difficult they are to catch consistently year round. He has fond memories as a youngster of being dropped off at the local fishing barges, then fishing all day and maybe catching only about five legal size fish to bring home. Since the days of his early youth, Anthony has spent countless hours on innumerable fishing trips on a wide variety of lakes, rivers and creeks, in all seasons, weather conditions and water situations. Through much effort and a lot of trial and error learning, Anthony was able to piece together the Crappie “puzzle”. Now his outings more often result in catches of limits of Crappie instead of the mere five fish stringer of his youth. His hugely popular fishing videos on YouTube are ample proof of his skill level and proficiency as a Crappie fisherman.
Anthony has embarked on a new chapter of his fishing career by becoming a successful Crappie fishing guide for DFW area lakes. He has a passion for helping his guests become better fishermen by passing on the many keys, tips and tricks he has learned over a lifetime of fishing: daily and seasonal fish activity patterns, cover and location preferences, dissecting a body of water, reading electronics, understanding weather and water factors, and determining productive lure presentations.
